Mediterranean Sunset
Once, while walking among the hills of the ancient settlement of Shikmona, I met a photographer who was photographing the little birds inhabiting the numerous coastal thickets. He was hiding among the tall grass, waiting for the next hero of his exciting photo hunt. We started talking, and I sat down on the grass next to him. In our conversation and exchange of experiences, I looked around in vain, trying to spot at least one bird, and suddenly saw the sea and the sun setting on the horizon. I liked this angle so much for its uniqueness that I decided to capture it in a photograph, as my favorite camera with a huge lens was with me. Lying on the grass, I focused on the tall blades of grass through which the sun's rays were shining and took this shot. Later, at home, while processing the photograph, I realized that this photo, printed on a large canvas, could decorate the wall of my dwelling. Said and done! I printed the canvas at a familiar workshop, stretched it over a frame, and hung it on the wall. After a while, our friends came over and examined this photo painting for a long time, whispering to each other... then they said they wanted to hang a similar one in their living room. Without thinking long, I took it off the wall and handed it to my friends, saying: this is a gift from me...
